Don't know if anyone remembers but I posted a story on here from Andrew Morris's blog? He is a teacher working in Bangladesh.

In the blog two young girls were pushed off a sixth floor balcony by their employer in a textile factory. One died the other lived as she hit a tree and broke both her legs.
The BNWLA gives legal aid in cases like this. They are trying to raise some money to set up a hostel as a place of refuge for girls like this.
They have only got about £500 so far but as it's a worthwhile cause I though I would post it on here.

You mean the BNWLA who had a young woman jump from the 4th floor of their "detention" hostel because she couldn't bear being "protected" by them anymore. The BNWLA who is now embroiled in the corruption case of the founder's husband who was a government minister who authorised the sale of a valuable plot of land to the BNWLA for just a $100 !!!

It's hard to know who to trust sometimes 
Quite often people start off with the best intentions but eventually end up getting into corruption.
I think this happens a lot with politicians who stay in power too long.
There was a programme on TV recently which explained the West's strategy in the cold war.
It was about Game Theory which was based on the fact the eventually everyone will act in their own interests.
They found that politcians, civil servants and even charitiy organizers, if you really examined their actions closely were acting in a way to benefit themselves.
The theory was thought out by a brilliant Harvard professor John Nash, but eventually he was diagnosed as being mentally ill 
This is how the game theory influenced the playing out of the Cuban missile crisis.

Dear Kama:
Thank you very much for following minutely what is happening in Bangladesh. It is pleasent to know, that at least there are some people in UK to whom the issues of present Bangladesh has atleast some importance. I am proud of all of you, who does not have any links with my country are keen to be with us and share our pains and pleasures.
