I used to visit rural France a lot a few years back.
In a lot of bars the men and women share a toilet.
You can be there having a pee while the women are standing right beside you queuing up for the sit down loo.
It was a bit disconcerting at first but they just take it as an everyday thing and I soon adopted the same attitude.
We used to be helped in clearing a piece of land by an old French farmer and his family, if the girls wanted a pee they just squatted down and went.
Just a natural bodily function, no reason for embarrassment.
