Dear Kama, unfortunately the anglo saxon mentality is no longer limited to europe.In fact it is just as bad now in many places in India.Unfortunately Krishna's play has dictated the spread of total capatalism.In fact Indians and Chinese are getting better at it than the europeans.Its almost as though society has been swept away down the river with no way of getting back on shore.In the last 12 months alone in India i have seen many people who are understandibly very materialistic, and an India that is getting caught up in the capatilist trap.Everthing is getting more expensive the world over and i know that it has been the cultural expectations rather than the financial limitations which has led to the family being mentained in India in the past.However this is now changing very fast.
i was privelaged to have met some very friendly souls,and some genuine Mahatmas in India yet i was also witness to some horrific corruption.Having spent time in many villages i can say that Indian society is in a right mess as is europe.It is the kali yuga.What to do?
Bring children into an unstable world?
Find a stable job with enough money to provide for a family?
Take a chance,find a spiritual soul who would accept me for better or for worse,job or no job,with all my faults?
Head for an ashram?
Just leave it all to the will of Divine Mother.....
