Baby In X-Ray Machine
A woman has accidentally put her baby grandson through an X-ray machine at Los Angeles International Airport.
A security worker noticed the shape of the one-month-old child on the carry-on baggage screening monitor and pulled him out, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The child was rushed to hospital but doctors said it did not receive a dangerous dose of radiation.
"This was an innocent mistake by an obviously inexperienced traveller," said Paul Haney, from the city's airport agency.
Mr Haney said an infant in a car seat had gone through an X-ray machine in a similar case at Los Angeles airport in 1988.
Why would you put a baby in a bag in the first place...
