It has been declared more taxing than working on a Scottish trawler in the North Sea, chopping trees in the Great Yorkshire Forest and drilling for oil off the coast of the Shetlands.
Researchers for the Discovery Channel show Hard Labour spent eight months travelling across Britain to seek out the trickiest occupations.
They discovered working the capital's hazardous roads combined with the stress of abusive passengers made being a London black cab driver the worst job.
Rankings were given according to likelihood of accidental death or injury, working hours, skill levels and difficulty as well as mental and physical stress.
A show spokesman said: "London is a stressful city and navigating dangerous roads all day is seriously underestimated."

I done Scaffolding for about 8 mouths a few years back... I used to love the heights, but it was a bit dangerous, most of the older guys knew of a least one ex-worker who had been badly injured whilst working.

The Discovery Channel research on hard labor considered likelihood of accidental death or injury, working hours, skill levels and difficulty as well as mental and physical stress in ranking various type of work. I wander whether sex work was in the list of work. Although I am not sure about those who are in this trade in UK, but I am sure that in most of the countries, and especially in third world- a sex worker either herself experiences the stated above indicators or atleast knew a good number of colleagues who have experienced the same. Most likely fiends in UK are also not exceptions
We should advocate for inclusion of sex-work in the hard work list.
