tantrika Member Gender: Male Dikshita	# Posted: 5 May 2006 18:07 kama is life force, yet sex can destroy just as easily as it might bring transcendence. we are attracted to inappropriate people, we expose ourselves to risks of harm through injury, robbery, disease, infamy... our feelings get hurt. we exhaust ourselves in the pursuit of the unattainable partner. in the mahabharata, look at how pandu was destroyed by his moment of spring time lust . how urvashi the apsara become a wrathful demoness when her passion was rejected. our moment of release is empty and does not remain. our "divine union" is a fiction; if it were true the feeling of being one person would persist after the physical bodies separate... could learning to prolong ecstacy (no matter how intense it is only fleeting )bring us to transcendence? if this were true , surely we would have a world full of enlightened beings by now... all of us have tried to find paradise. we keep looking. when is sex divine , when is it not ?... the self presents many guises , baseness disguised as something lofty among these. the arising of passion by itself ... what is redeeming about this? i scold myself for making this mistake , again and again and again. it is the quicksilver elixir which must be utterly transmuted

Krishna will always find Rada, so become Rada and Krishna will come to you. Vishnu always finds Laksmi... So if you become the person that your ideal Lover would desire then he will find you. forest Member Gender: N/A Dikshita	# Posted: 7 May 2006 12:15 Confusion is caused by mind.Everything is mind,a product of our mind,as stated by the Mahatma Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi and others.Now the problem is that the mind will always reinvent itself,create new situations to keep itself in the game,to keep itself alive.It will create desires or circumstances where you end up on this website for example. As a sincere seeker of Truth,who has met many masters all i can say is it is all predestined.If like me,you have latent desires or repression then circumstances will dictate a certain situation,whether marriage or an escort,or becoming an escort in order to provide for a family.It is a dangerous game yet we have no choice.i have tried to be as sincere as possible yet i obviously need to work out my stuff.Until recently i tried to be celibate , but if your not ready you go mad or maybe even rape.That is why society requires escorts.And as society moves further away from Nature, with all the stress and family breakdown so these outlets are becoming increasingly required.These are the crazy end days of the Kali yuga,where AIDS is rife yet even i have been to see a lady of the night.The Kali yuga where becoming an escort is reqiured to make enough money to survive in a capatilist world.Divine Mother tricked Shiva by manifesting as Parvati.Similarly Divine Mother tricks Forest by manifesting as the world and as Kama.Even though Forest recognises this his capacity to control his kundalini is limited.Do your best to control the kundalini yet recogise that ultimately you have no choice,because it is all the play of Mother,only our ego's delude us into the notion of doership and our thoughts create the play. I think so much confusion is the result of the repression of unresolved emotional dilemmas. The Devadasi are not a rape prevention device, but the means by which all men might know true love...
